Alexander House, Perthshire - Hannah & Paul
I was put in touch with Hannah & Paul via Kendal Delaney (Celebrant & generally lovely person)!
We met through our pre-booking chat and organised a Pre-Wedding/Engagement session. This is always my preferred wedding photography journey, as it gives us plenty of time to get to know each other, and for you to get used to being in front of the camera.
With Alexander House as their chosen venue and a very chilled attitude to the day, I was confident this would be one of my top 2024 weddings!
I joined Hannah for Bridal Prep, capturing the details first, before moving on to capture some candids and some pre-ceremony family photos.
Weather was being a particularly Scottish on the day (easiest way to describe our weird and ever changing forecasts), so with minutes to spare, the call was made to switch to an outdoor ceremony and make the most of the sun. As it turned out, this was a great choice, leading to some of my favourite ceremony shots so far!
Hannah & Paul’s Celebrant Kendal conducted a beautiful humanist ceremony, taking the guests through the story of our couples journey so far. The ceremony was a personal & truly joyful one, full of laughs and plenty of (happy) tears.
Truly, you can’t beat the chaos of confetti
After the ceremony, the guests had a couple of drinks before heading into family photos.
A huge perk to Alexander House, there’s plenty of rooms large enough for family photos, meaning that if, and when, it rains during a wedding, it’s easy to switch to the indoor option!
Once we’d finished family photos, we ventured back outdoors and were treated again to the beautiful Autumn sun!
This is just a glimpse of the fantastic day that Hannah & Paul put together, but a huge thank you to them both for trusting me to capture their day, and to their wonderful friends & family for welcoming me!
A huge shoutout to my fellow wedding suppliers:
